Vor drei Jahren, am 27.09.2016 wurde Hussam Fadl von der Berliner Polizei von hinten erschossen. An seinem Todestag erinnern wir an ihn und die vielen weiteren Tode in Deutschland durch rassistische Polizeigewalt. Außerdem stellen wir unsere neue Kampagne Death in Custody vor. Die Kampagne wurde durch verschiedene antirassitischer Initiativen ins Leben gerufen, um auf tödliche rassistische Polizeigewalt aufmerksam zu machen, Druck zu auszuüben und die Verantwortlichen zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen.

3 years ago on 27.09.2016 Hussam Fadl was fatally shot from behind by the Berlin police. On the anniversary of his death we remember him and the many other deaths in Germany as the result of racist police violence.

This day also marks the kick-off of our new campaign ‘Death in Custody’. This campaign has been launched by several anti-racist initiatives, in order to raise awareness of lethal racist police violence, to put pressure on the authorities, and to bring those responsible to accountability.
